How to compost at home

How to make homemade compost?
To start composting, you should collect all the organic matter generated in the home such as fruit and vegetable peels, seeds, food scraps, paper, cardboard, used napkins, tea or coffee grounds, dry leaves, and branches, and store them in a homemade compost bin.

The homemade composter will be key for the compost to rest and undergo the natural process until, after a maximum of 6 months, it turns into a black substrate ready for fertilizing.

The waste placed in the composter must be moist or dry. The process is very simple and involves alternating layers of organic matter with soil and keeping it covered, dry, and aerated. Excess moisture can also be controlled by adding some mixed sawdust.
